But it's not the way to give up on this site for me as I'm still a fan and I believe there are few people who are still interested in lx, so I'll keep this forum going as long as I can. Time to say goodbye!

Oh well, they say all good things must come to an end, and it seems like the time has to come to close this chapter: The Liberty X Media Blog.

From today on I won't update the blog anymore with any pictures, songs or videos.
Neither will Paul.

We both have life changing experiences ahead of us and they won't allow us to keep this blog alive.

We just want to thank everybody who kept on visiting our media blog and for all of your support on the forum. It was a nice time for us but now it's time to go our
seperate ways.

We still have a forum where we will inform you about guys solo projects, so keep checking it!

Back home on Tyneside, Michelle revealed how she is fighting to put a “terrifying” health scare behind her, how she is getting broody and wants a baby – and told of her nervousness about her fledgling TV career.

Michelle, adding a touch of glamour to a restaurant opening, said she is now concentrating on her new career in television.

There were fears the Gateshead-born singer would have to cancel her wedding last autumn to Andy Scott-Lee when she was diagnosed with a heart problem and faced having a pacemaker fitted. But now Michelle believes her potentially life-threatening palpitations were down to the stress of her wedding, and by cutting out caffeine and stimulants she has been problem-free for two months. She said: “It was terrifying at the time. My heartbeat would get irregular and I could feel myself slipping away – and then I’d black out. “Someone wrote that I’d planned my own funeral. That wasn’t true but I did write a will. Thankfully, for the past two months I’ve been fine. I’ve cut out caffeine and stimulants like Red Bull and that’s helped. I just have to keep an eye on things and not get too stressed.”

But Michelle is not planning on taking it too easy. Although she was back in Newcastle to open the newly refurbished Pizza Hut in The Gate she revealed that since Liberty X announced they were splitting she has a number of new ventures up her sleeve. She has recently been seen in the three-part documentary series Michelle and Andy’s Big Day and the couple have another series due to broadcast soon.

Her latest TV role, which begins today on Channel 5, could be her toughest yet. She said: “I have to take off all my make-up and then go to a film premiere. I’ll then be interviewing celebrities about why they wear make-up and why they think it’s important. I’m really nervous about it.” “I don’t wear a huge amount of make-up, but going without any will be really frightening! But I wanted to do it as I think it will be really interesting.” Michelle is no stranger to the snapping cameras of the paparazzi, and every time she steps out on the town, especially if it is with celebrity chum Katie Price, aka Jordan, she is under the camera’s gaze. She said: “I don’t really mind the cameras. It comes with the job. “It’s the stories that they make up to go with them that are the problem.”

Although she admits she is hooked on reality TV and it was her dream to be famous, she still warned other young fame-seekers to make sure they have something to fall back on.

She said: “I still got my GCSEs and A-levels so if it all goes wrong I would be able to get another job. It’s still important to get your qualifications.”

Although married life with Andy is domestic bliss, Michelle said she has no plans to follow in her pal Katie’s footsteps and have children just yet. She said: “I am getting broody, but now’s not the right time. I’m concentrating on my career. I’m also in talks about releasing a dance track and there are other TV roles in the pipeline. I’ll also be playing Cinderella in panto at Sunderland Empire.”

Bowood finale for Liberty X

POP band Liberty X will perform one of their last ever gigs together in Wiltshire this autumn, it has been revealed.

The quintet, made up from the runners-up of reality show Popstars, will go their separate ways soon after performing at Wiltshire Crimestoppers family fun day at Bowood House and Gardens on September 2.

The show, sponsored by the Wiltshire Times, will be one of the last chances that fans of the group will get to see them perform together.

The group, made up of Jessica, Kelli, Tony, Michelle and Kevin, announced on their website they not be recording any more material together and have planned a farewell gig for August 4.

They go onto say they will complete their club tour and perform together at one-off special events, including the Crimestoppers festival. The Crimestoppers event, which runs from 10am to 6pm, will feature other artists including former Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee, ex-Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon and X Factor finalists Ben Mills and Eton Road.

There are only 20,000 tickets on sale and organisers are expecting a full house.

In addition to the music there will be entertainment in the form of the Bluebelle Majorettes, falconry displays, St John Ambulance demonstrations, Chippenham Morris Men and a martial arts display.

Liberty X star lands panto role

Singer Michelle Scott-Lee has proved there is life after pop stardom - and it lies on the stage.

She's landed herself a juicy role in the pantomime Cinderella, and is starring opposite one of the entertainment biz's biggest names.

Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney has also signed up to perform in the fairytale at the Sunderland Empire theatre, but the veteran actor could have an ulterior motive for popping over to the UK.

He's mad keen for a role in John Nettles' drama Midsomer Murders. The veteran star told Sky Showbiz: "I love watching it, it's really so well done." Maybe if he puts a good word in for his co-star Michelle, she could appear in the gentle crime drama too?

JESSICA TAYLOR has admitted that she didn’t know fiancé KEVIN PIETERSEN was a top England batsman when they met.

The pair — dubbed the Posh and Becks of cricket — will wed in September after meeting last year.

They were introduced through mutual friends.

But Jessica, 26, admits: "I had to ask if he was a batter or a bowler — I didn’t really know who he was."

Kelli Young has revealed that the group decided to split because the girls wanted to settle down.

The singer explained that Michelle Heaton is hoping to have children in the near future with husband Andy Scott-Lee, while Jessica Taylor is also planning to start a family with England cricketer Kevin Pietersen.

"Michelle and Andy are wanting to have kids and Jessica is also at the point where she wants children," Young told the Daily Star Sunday. "I'd expect both girls to be pregnant very, very soon."

Kelli also confirmed that she is launching a solo career.

Celebrities run wild to save Planet Earth.

A team of celebrities is heading to Kenya for Saving Planet Earth – Running Wild.

On Saturday 23 June, Jon Culshaw, Les Dennis, Michaela Strachan, Kelli Young and Jeremy Edwards are running the Safaricom marathon to raise money for the BBC Wildlife Fund. The results of the race will be shown during the exciting fund-raising finale Saving Planet Earth – Live on Friday 6 July.

Kelli Young is hoping that her time in the Kenyan Bush will inspire new songs although she's not sure she'll enjoy the camping.

Kelli says: "I'm particularly looking forward to the Maori tribe teaching me some traditional African dance moves!" She's not as excited about the camping but is happy to give it a go to help raise money for the BBC Wildlife Fund.

JESSICA TAYLOR proves the thigh's the limit after this week's shock announcment that Liberty X are splitting up.

The gorgeous singer – currently engaged to cricketer Kevin Pietersen – shows off her perfect pins in a new advert for Veet.

While posing for the pictures in her tiny hot pants, Jessica spoke for the first time about her plans post Liberty X.

She said: "I hate to use the words 'splitting up' as it sounds so harsh."

"But we're all still the best of friends and plan to come together for one-off special events in the future."

"I would love to continue modelling and I would also love to try my hand at some acting roles."

And no chat with Jess would be complete without asking how she keeps her never-ending legs in check.

"I’ve never dieted in my life," she revealed.

"My biggest vice is a take-away pizza, so I have to make sure I exercise regularly to stay in shape."

Liberty X have announced that they won't be doing any more recording together.

The five-piece group, formed from 2001 reality show Popstars, made the announcement in a statement to fans on their website.

A posting on the group's website says, "We want to let the fans know that Liberty X won't be doing any more recording together. All of us have separate projects we're working on, and are excited about. We're still the best of friends, and we'll still be doing all the dates on the current club tour. Also, we still intend to come together sometimes as Liberty X, for one-off events."

Liberty X' first tour took place in 2003. Throughout the whole of march they entertained thousands of fans with their show. Of course they sang all the songs entirely live. The newest addition to our blog is this performance of Got to have your love on CD:UK. It was one of the very first performances of the song. CD:UK has sadly ended quite some time ago but is said to return to english channels very soon. Liberty X were always a welcomed guest on the show.

Todays special is the official Promo-CDS of Jumpin', Liberty X' seventh single. It was the second single taken from Being Somebody, their second studioalbum . The video takes place in a underground club, where Liberty X get the crowd going with their stomping song.

To start this whole thing off, we provide you two performances of Liberty X' biggest hit so far - Just a little.

The first performance took place at the Disney Kids Awards in 2002. Watch as Liberty X get the crowd going by doing the sexy dance routine.

The second performance took place in Germany, in one of the worlds most famous TV-Shows, called Top of the Pops. Way back then in 2002, when Just a little was released, everyone across Europe was shaking their booties to the song. Just a little also marked the peak of their career in Germany.
